An NFT as well as it's owner are stored on the blockchain (BTC Blockchain, Etherium Blockchain, etc.) As an artist myself - if I wanted to - I could sell digital work via this technology. It's surle an intersting alternative to traditional plattforms like www.saatchiart.com, 500px.com, or etsy.com. The Blockchain is nothing more than a decentralized*, digital, currency trading plattform. It's transparent: Any trade/withdrawl/deposit will remain on your account. You cannot delete or hide this. You could delete delete your profil (wich needs legal documents to even begin with). But then still, your trades/withdrawl/deposit from the past and your user data are stored in the market (Blockchain).
