Tab Ultra as an E-ink ssh client?

For remote access to desktop applications from Tab Ultra, I use RustDesk with a self-hosted server. It works fine if you need something more than SSH (for me, it is checking up on 3D simulations).

  2. F-Droid is an interesting alternative for Android users who want to try something different and not have to use the Goole Play store all the time.
I regularly use my Tab Ultra as an SSH client via Termux. You can get Termux through F-Droid, and it works well once you set a theme that looks good on your E-Ink screen (via Termux:Styling, which is also on F-Droid). For light text editing within Termux, I just use nano. While scrolling through the text, the screen flickers too much for my taste on HD/Regal refresh modes, but Balanced or Fast/Ultrafast work fine. I usually switch between Regal and Balanced depending on whether I am scrolling a lot or not (the text is not as sharp on Balanced). Personally, I have not tried vim on Tab Ultra yet, but I assume it works fine if you know how to exit from it.
