Not to be a purist old school nerd, but my first advice is: keep designing on your own freely, without references, for a few months, it will prevent you from feeling that you have to follow trends and provide the emotional, creative and mental space to thrive openly and without prejudice in whichever media you are beginning your wonderful design journey. Having said that, for a later time, unsplash , freepik and vecteezy have wonderful resources to play around with; fist one is photography and the other 2, vectors and illustrations; envato is one fo the best professional sites for resources and it offers some freebies when you sign up even if you don't have a paid account. Also, you'll probably enjoy roaming around rawpixel's public domain gallery to learn from the masters of painting and classic media. Last but not least, always credit the author of the resources you use: it helps us all designers to keep our work from being shared without attribution, and that is something you'll want as well.
