If people are looking for an alternative - I have been using Zuplo and loving it so far. Not open source though. Source: 11 months ago
This seems ridiculous - perhaps they are trying to curb how many free users they have relative to paying users? I was thinking of using it for my hobby project - any other free suggestions? I am currently playing with Zuplo: https://zuplo.com/ but I am open to suggestions. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
Just adding to the list. You can build a pretty fully-featured API layer for free using Zuplo. Source: 12 months ago
I'm super happy I found zuplo.com: it's 100% managed, and by default deployed to the edge instead of some specific region. It comes with an Authentication service that allows for anyone to self-serve their API Keys, global rate limiting (🤯) and any custom stuff I can program it with Javascript/TS (no XML shit).
