I use a Xim Nexus controller which lets you fine-tune your aim with controller tilt while in ADS. It takes practice, because ultimately you want to aim with stick and tilt simultaneously, but the learning curve isn’t too bad. Had the basics down in an hour or three. Source: over 1 year ago
You know whats even worse on consoles? This -> https://xim.tech/ sssso.... Now there wille be kbm users on non crossplay consoles with aim assist owning everyone with controller. Source: over 2 years ago
Yep, and fittingly named too; https://xim.tech/. Source: over 2 years ago
Get yourself a xim. I never play shooters on console, but many of my homies were playing on ps4 when blops2 came out. I bought a xim3 or xim4 several years ago so I could use mkb on console and it worked extremely well. Source: over 2 years ago
2 - Like it or not ALL Xbox FPS games will have Mouse and Keyboard players. The XIM and Chronus Max use is rife across console and neither Sony or Microsoft give a shit at all. Source: almost 3 years ago
I believe this tool can make you play M&K on console. Https://xim.tech/. Source: almost 3 years ago
There’s a quick guide for this in the Tutorials section of the XIM APEX forums at https://xim.tech. Source: almost 3 years ago
That’s true, when I played on consoles I used a device called the xim apex to get the best accuracy with it you have to put your game sensitivity to the maximum. After being on pc for so long, looking back it was tough to adjust to, my accuracy got a bit better but it wasn’t worth the cost imo. Source: almost 3 years ago
Then, I found the XIM controller!! Hooked up a mouse and keyboard to the xbone 360 and showed them some humiliation, circle strafinging, side jumping, things they just could not do with a controller. Source: almost 3 years ago
Indeed it works because the xbox sees the apex usb stick as a real 360 controller. Because there is a real controller connected. But the apex usb takes the input from the other ports. The sticks has bluetooth so via a app all buttons are mapable to your liking. Some games require some in game settings. But the app will guide you. It's quite more expensive I think but maybe second had u can search it for 50 maybe.... Source: almost 3 years ago
It wont support it but like others, alot of people are using the apex xim which allows you to play with keyboard and mouse aswell as fully customize your button layout and hotkeys and sensitivity. https://xim.tech. Source: about 3 years ago
Do you already have one of these? https://xim.tech/. Source: about 3 years ago
You actually can if you have a pre programmable keyboard that saves/runs its macros off of itself, all you need after that is a device like the xim to convert keyboard inputs into controller inputs. So yeah it is abit more work but if you REALLY love that shitterbox you call a console it is indeed possible. Source: about 3 years ago
Https://xim.tech now I would recommend not using this in competitive multiplayer games because people are not too happy when going up against KB+M on console but I figure it’s fine with single player games. I also cannot vouch for how good they are as I’ve never had a need to use one, but I have heard that people like using them in games like R6. Source: about 3 years ago
There’s lots of different brands, XIM is just one, here’s their website. Source: about 3 years ago
