Obsidian is the best!! It is open source and you don't need to pay for anything at all. You can store your notes in a github repo and also sync it with your ios device thanks to Working copy. There is plenty of tutorials on how to do it. Just use our best friend Google. Source: almost 2 years ago

Both Working Copy and Secure ShellFish integrate properly with the Files system on iOS to allow for full folder sharing. That means you can have a Location in iA Writer that comes from your GitHub repository or FTP server. Since indie apps are capable of doing this, it doesn't leave the big players much excuse.
