Now there's probably no easy way to make everything exactly the same, but what you can do is use the software Windowtop (look at the video provided in the link) to have transparent windows for transparent overlays of previous screenshots to get things lined up so you don't have to use fades in photoshop like the above. This is a trial software so just get the project done in the temp length you're allowed to use... Source: over 1 year ago
There are a few programs out there that might be able to do it. The one I had the most success with on Windows is WindowTop. Recently it started being really buggy for me personally. I could reported the bugs and hopefully either got some help or some bug fixes. But for me it made more sense to write my own simple AutoHotKey script to put it all more under my own control with very minimal code to manage. I came up... Source: over 1 year ago
I'm looking for something like WindowTop's automatic dark-mode feature, but WindowTop's only allows colour filtering (by this I mean that it will invert all colours and not just black and white, which isn't what I want) until you pay for the license. I only want to utilize the smart-invert/force dark mode feature, so paying isn't exactly the best option (or at least, I hope). Source: over 1 year ago
On a Windows PC, you can use the program WindowTop to change any window to be transparent and always displayed and click through. You can use this with any window, including a web browser showing ambient YouTube videos, such as this one showing the view outside the front of a train. If you put that video into full screen, then you can write code and use any other window while working while still having the train... Source: over 1 year ago

I've always loved overlay type of apps, like Overlay2, WebToApp or WindowTop, I could make good use of them, especially when I only had one display. Source: almost 2 years ago

You could try this extension, it allows you to "set dark" what you are looking at, but what it actually does is show you the negative of that tab, so if you are looking at something black, it will appear white. Source: over 2 years ago
Hey I just wanted to share a method I started using today after a lifetime of wishing it was a feature. There is an app on the windows store call "WindowTop" that lets you make windows transparent. So as long as you run Sims 4 in borderless windowed mode this method will work. I just took photos of my face on my iphone and then opened up icloud on the browser, set the window to be transparent, pinned it to the... Source: over 2 years ago
