So I like watching Dragon's Den Canada but it's never easy. I've added the meta data from the CBC website to themoviedb.org for each episode and will continue to do so. I can't be bothered adding thumbnails but I do enter descriptions of the episodes. The problem is the sources keep pulling Dragons' Den UK. Took me a bit a playing around but I finally figured out if I use a Rescrape menu (any fork of Venom will... Source: 6 months ago
Movienerd features over 3 Mio. International filmmakers you may browse through and follow. As other services like letterboxd and trakt do, I access the database of themoviedb.org, hence the pool of available actors, directors, editors, composers, screenwriters, make-up artists and more is huge! As soon as you follow at least one filmmaker, your radar feed displays you automatically past and upcoming releases, that... Source: 10 months ago
Fanart.tv, themoviedb.org, thetvdb.com will have artwork for TV shows and movies at pretty good quality. Source: 10 months ago
First, read through the naming guidelines to see how Plex expects shows/episodes to be named and organized. Then, you can look at TVDB/TMDB to see what episodes your files can actually be matched against:. Source: 10 months ago
For Infuse you need to use the naming convention it expects. I believe it uses themoviedb.org so if you search the filename on there and it’s not coming back as the first search result, Infuse will get confused. Source: 10 months ago
For TV shows, Plex uses data from themoviedb.org and thetvdb.com. Source: 11 months ago
Plex uses TV show information from TheTVDB.com and themoviedb.org. Whether the media is a movie or series depends on how it is categorized at those two site. Source: 11 months ago
If you go to themoviedb.org and register, you can upvote and down vote images that will eventually update on letterboxd. Or, even better, find a good image and share it there. Source: 11 months ago
Please note: this article won’t cover how to setup an account on the movie database (TMDB). If needed, I will write on that in another article. For this project, I already have my api key from TMDB and that will be used in this example. To learn more about TMDB, kindly check out their official website. - Source: dev.to / 12 months ago
If you aren’t sure of correct episode titles, check themoviedb.org. In the example above, Plex server does its best to correctly identify slight variations, anyway. Source: 12 months ago
You can create an account on TMDb and update the information there. That's the default metadata provider used by Jellyfin, and it's open to everyone. Source: 12 months ago
For search film need imdb or name in torrent tracker, then need get all film information - we use themoviedb.org for it, then we extract magnet link, file names for episodes and other info from page and link it to film or serial or eposode. Source: about 1 year ago
One last note to the OP - you should become familiar with the website themoviedb.org, and how they name/document the series/movies you're standing up on your Plex server, as the Plex index/scanning facility leverages this site for its metadata out of the box... Source: about 1 year ago
It just came to my attention that Muppet*vision 3D, the last muppet related thing Jim Henson ever did, was taken off of themoviedb.org and therefore letterboxd.com as well, the popular film logging social media site that copies most of its data. I started a new page on themoviedb and and need some help filling it out. Anyone can edit it so feel free to join in! Source: about 1 year ago
Letterboxd pulls its posters from themoviedb.org and posteritati.com. Source: about 1 year ago
Look at the listings on IMDB and themoviedb.org. Source: about 1 year ago
I decided to try adding Paw Patrol: Sea Patrol to themoviedb.org as a TV show: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/220682-paw-patrol-sea-patrol. Source: about 1 year ago
IIRC it's a mix of The Movie Database (TMDB), The TV database (TVDB) and IMDB (despite their names, both TMDB and TVDB index movies and TV shows). Adding the shows/movies to TMDB or TVDB should make it to Plex's aggregated database in a couple days. Source: over 1 year ago
This is the answer, but it will likely take months for themoviedb.org to respond and fix the issue. I still have an open report from November. They must have a very small team. Source: over 1 year ago
I received the "box" set for Xmas (using the term loosely, what horrible packaging!) and I'm having trouble matching episodes up. I use the normal MakeMKV - Handbrake - TinyMediaManager method, but I can't get TMM to recognize the show. It looks like it defaults to themoviedb.org and it finds two shows that aren't relevant (see photo). Source: over 1 year ago
Use the show name as it appears at themoviedb.org or thetvdb.com. Source: over 1 year ago
