1. What makes TimeFlip unique?

   We are building a human-friendly and educating IoT device to help individuals in managing their time and workload. Unlike pure digital time tracking apps, TimeFlip is a connected, physical device. This provides radically different UX and ensures ease of use and instant adoption. TIMEFLIP2 is an app-powered dice that makes time tracking easy and accessible to anyone, irrespective of their level of computer literacy. This tactile device sits on the user’s desk and logs time with a simple flip. The device comes in the shape of a dodecahedron with 12 sides that can be assigned to 12 different tasks or activities. At the start, a user marks his/her tasks or activities on the sides of TIMEFLIP2 and assigns them in the mobile app. The tracker is fully set to work. Now a user only needs to place TIMEFLIP2 so that the current activity is facing up and the device will log time for it. Time logs are stored in the local memory without the need of permanent connection to the app. The tracker automatically syncs with the app once the app is opened. The app pushes time logs further to AWS cloud for storage, visualization and export via our proprietary web interface.

   More natural and human-friendly UI of a physical device that makes time tracking easy and accessible to anyone, irrespective of their level of computer literacy.

3. How would you describe the primary audience of TimeFlip?

   "White collar" knowledge industries, such as: software development, design, consulting, banking and finance, education&research, media. With the stuff mostly working on WFH or hybrid schedules.

  Computer guy here (CS engineer, actually). Are you looking for a solution that integrates with your existing software, or only a physical time tracker?   Having a timer that stays in your visual field (like TimeFlip) is cool because it helps addresses the object permanence challenges that can make remembering to use a tracker hard, but it still requires noticing the shift in focus and having that shift trigger an action. Source: over 4 years ago
