  • Looking For: inventory for music albums
If you don't need it to be a web app or a service, try out Tellico. I use it to track my physical books, comics, and video games. It can fetch metadata from a bunch of different sources and has a preset for music albums. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Self hosted physical bookshelf database with ISBN scanning
Tellico has been a great tool for managing our collections - books, comics, games, etc. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • [Poll] Best software for hoarders and curators?
Tellico is a KDE project (linux) for managing collections of all sorts. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Relational database for non-technical person with spreadsheets that are getting out of control.
I love data and I can't imagine anyone other than myself being interested in this information, lol. It would be neat if one day, when all the info is in there, to share it and see if others like it too. It's not that I don't want to spend any money on it, it's just that another monthly fee isn't really feasible right now? I think my priority is to be able to fiddle around with the data and patterns myself. I... Source: about 2 years ago
  • Book database
I've been using Tellico for a few years now. You can retrieve metadata from a number of sources, search for books based on ISBN and other factors, and even track lending. It's FOSS and actively maintained (latest release came out in February). It's a standalone desktop app, so no docker is necessary. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Vinyl Collection Management Site/App
If you use Linux then Tellico is an alternative. It can manage collections of all sorts of media: music, books, movies, and more. It's a software application, so your collections are stored locally on your computer, not on some remote server like Discogs. What I like about it is that you can search the music data from some source like Discogs or Musicbrainz and then edit that data however you like. So you don't... Source: over 2 years ago
  • Looking for Self-hosted (preferably dockerized) "Library" Catalogue Software
I just heard of Tellico recently for organizing collections. Haven't checked it out myself yet, but it sounds like it might be what you're looking for. Source: over 2 years ago
  • For those of you who have larger collections, how do you keep track of it?
I keep track of my physical books and DVDs/Blu-rays with tellico, though it's a KDE application, so it only works on *nix systems, not Windows. Also, because I buy all of my physical light novels, manga, and anime from Right Stuf, it's usually pretty trivial to see whether I've bought something before, because as long as you're signed in, and you've bought the product before, Right Stuf will indicate at the top of... • What should I use to create a customizable game bible ?
As my previous OS was Linux, I used the freeware Tellico, a collection management software, to create various cards about my game (characters, events, items, locations ... etc). I used a dozen Tellico files as a central data bank, transferring the info of my drafts into them. Each file had customized fields, that allowed me to create entries with said fields. Also, you could sort and filter the entries. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Does anyone use the app to catalogue their collection? I have a problem/question
I used to use's app but moved to CLZ Movies. I use it exclusively now. If interested give it a look at I also tried Tellico on Linux but found CLZ Movies worked best for me. The functionality on CLZ movies fixed the mentioned issue for me. The app gives you a choice of adding the films as individual, collection, or member of a collection. Source: about 3 years ago
