If you haven't used it before but are willing to give it a try on your machine and let me know if it works, I'd really appreciate it. It's free and lightweight, and a nice little synth. It can be downloaded here if anyone's willing to give that a quick try for me https://daichilab.sakura.ne.jp/softsynth/index.html. Source: about 1 year ago
Have you tried the free VST called Synth1? you'll probably find these sounds in there, or something that sounds close to this- because the sounds above are pretty straightforward - you can get Synth1 from here - https://daichilab.sakura.ne.jp/softsynth/index.html. Source: about 1 year ago
Synth1 is the OG free VA synth and can make some great Synthwave tones: https://daichilab.sakura.ne.jp/softsynth/index.html. Source: over 1 year ago

Good work, synth1 is one the my favorited. Source: about 2 years ago
Just installed the plugin from what I assume is the official site (was sent here from kvraudio), but the download was flagged as malicious by a few VirusTotal vendors (Here's the report). Is this a false positive, or did I just download from the wrong site? Source: over 2 years ago
If you want synths, some good free ones are Vital (https://vital.audio/) Helm (https://tytel.org/helm/) Synth1 (https://daichilab.sakura.ne.jp/softsynth/index.html) TAL Noisemaker (https://tal-software.com/products/tal-noisemaker) and OB-XD [Free for non commercial use] (https://www.discodsp.com/obxd/). Synth1 ( Software Synthesizer Synth1 (sakura.ne.jp) ) Quite a flexible polysynth, the interface is a little haphazard but it does the trick! (Website is in Japanese). Source: over 2 years ago
Here you go. The site is japanese though, so you should probably have a translator on hand. Otherwise, it should be pretty straight-forward. Source: almost 3 years ago
Have you checked the official homepage? Looks like you can download AU or VST for Mac but it's in Beta. Source: about 3 years ago
Thank you! I tried it, but on this site https://daichilab.sakura.ne.jp/softsynth/index.html#down (which should be the official download site, right? I remember having downloaded synth 1 on that site before) I can't find the macbook version.. Source: over 3 years ago
Both for free: I'll recommend Surge (even though I haven't really figured it out myself) and Synth1. Source: over 3 years ago
