  I had a lot of luck with super-productivity for a while. I liked that I could store the data on my own webdav server and have it persist across all my devices, while being free and optionally self-hosted, but there is a learning curve when getting it set up. Source: about 1 year ago

  If data privacy is a concern for you, you might want to consider a FOSS alternative. Condution is a good option that is available on almost all platforms including MacOS and Android. I haven't personally tried it but Super Productivity is also another option. Source: about 1 year ago

  Also there's https://super-productivity.com/ which can (supposedly, I haven't gotten it to work but dev says it does) link to OpenProject and act as a fantastic front end, helping you focus on"today/now" stuff. It takes some work but it's a pretty slick UI :). Source: over 1 year ago

OR a calendar that includes tasks and to-dos? I know in my head what I want, but I don't think it exists!

  Super Productivity has most of the things you ask for. There is not a classical landing page as such, but using the notes feature creatively (e.g. For your long term goals), you should be able to come very close, to what you ask. Source: over 2 years ago
