Go on stubhub.com and look for cheap tickets... You can find tickets for like 10-15 bucks depending on the day and team theyre playing (nosebleeds seats). Source: over 3 years ago
Would be nice if Stubhub would have 'stubhub.com' as their internal email domain for these so it wouldnt sketch people out. Still no email confirmation from them. Source: over 3 years ago

People do buy season tickets, and a few even do come to all 81 games. But what mostly happens is that they'll come to many of the games but then sell their tickets to the remaining games on ticket resale sites like stubhub.com, sell them privately, give them to friends/family etc. For the most part the seats in the best section, the team only sells them as season tickets, so those that want to sit there for... I am going to visit the U.S. (West Coast) together with 3 friends this September. We're football fans from Germany and would love to visit a CFB Game in the States! The game we want to visit is Rice @ USC (unfortunately there are no better options fitting our schedule). So I contacted the USC Athletic Office regarding tickets and now they sent me the pricing: $140 per person for a medium section and 95$ for a back... Source: about 4 years ago
Same problem being discussed in Stubhub forum community. Problem seemed to start after I upgraded to Firefox 103.0. On same computer, iMac runing Big Sur, if I use Safari I have no trouble accessing https://stubhub.com home page. Clearing cookies and cache in Firefox doesn't seem to help. In Firefox, one can login by going to subdomain https://my.stubhub.com, but after logging in, any action you take that... Source: about 4 years ago
That's why 3rd party places like "stubhub.com" are slightly better because sellers don't get paid unless ticket gets used smoothly. Ofcourse I found they are 30% higher in their commission markups. Source: over 4 years ago
I just looked on stubhub.com and the cheapest tickets are going for about USD $205 each before fees in the corner endzone, upper level. Expect to pay hundreds more for decent seats. If you're a gambling man, use the gametime app where the ticket prices go down as the beginning of the game approaches. When going to Sofi, you also need to think as much about parking or transportation as you do about tickets. They... Source: over 4 years ago
Waiting 2 days to think a purchase over is definitely smart!! Have you ever used stubhub.com ? The really popular artists you definitely have to buy sooner rather than later. The other concerts are cheap on stubhub days before. I ALMOST sold Billy Joel tickets on stubhub one year because I could have tripled my money ... But I could not miss out on seeing Billy Joel in concert. Source: over 4 years ago

I have never heard of such a thing happening in all my years of buying tickets from Ticketmaster to attend concerts. But you're free to sell your Tuesday tickets on a reseller like StubHub, SeatGeek, or Vivid Seats (they're essentially eBay for event tickets) and then buy Saturday tickets for yourself instead. StubHub, a prominent player in the online ticketing and events marketplace, has garnered significant public attention and varying opinions. Originally part of the eBay group, it distinguishes itself by offering a platform where users can buy and sell tickets for a plethora of events, such as concerts, sports games, and theater performances. It contends with stiff competition from the likes of Ticketmaster, Viagogo, SeatGeek, and others.
Customer Perspectives:
StubHub is often praised for its vast inventory and ability to secure last-minute tickets, even to sold-out events, making it an appealing choice for spontaneous event-goers. This was highlighted in recent mentions pointing out that StubHub is a reliable source for securing tickets from the initial sale right up to event day. Its commitment to providing a secure purchasing experience is appreciated, as users can avoid dubious scalping practices and receive a guarantee with each transaction.
A notable feature that enhances the buyer’s experience is the ability to preview panoramic views from selected sections before purchasing tickets. Such functionality is facilitated by high-resolution images, a feature that provides buyers with added confidence in their purchase decision.
Challenges and Critiques:
Despite its advantages, StubHub encounters criticisms, particularly concerning its communication practices. Some users express concerns over the legitimacy of communications received from obscure domains, which could be unsettling for those unfamiliar with StubHub's systems. Additionally, issues with accessing the site via certain browsers have been reported, affecting the overall user experience.
Pricing Considerations:
Users often debate ticket pricing on StubHub. While some find the platform provides decent deals, particularly for lesser-demand events, others have highlighted the premium prices associated with more popular events. The markup and fees can be significant, leading some potential buyers to explore other platforms like SeatGeek and Ticketmaster as viable alternatives for specific events.
Use for Sellers:
For ticket sellers, StubHub presents a valuable platform to offload tickets, particularly for sports events. The ability to include extras like parking passes and season tickets adds value to listings. However, users are also advised to list their tickets on multiple platforms to ensure sales, especially for less mainstream events.
Technological Challenges:
On the technical front, StubHub has mechanisms in place against automated browsing, which some users have found problematic. The site can detect and block requests coming from automated tools like Selenium, making it difficult for developers to interact with the site programmatically.
Conclusion:
Overall, StubHub maintains a strong presence in the ticketing marketplace and has built a reputation for offering a wide selection and secure buying options. However, issues around communication, pricing, and technical barriers highlight areas that could be improved to enhance user satisfaction. As with any marketplace, potential buyers and sellers are encouraged to weigh the benefits and drawbacks of using the platform, potentially accessing various sources to meet their specific needs effectively.
