Where to get affordable CFB tickets for (Rice @ USC)

I am going to visit the U.S. (West Coast) together with 3 friends this September. We're football fans from Germany and would love to visit a CFB Game in the States! The game we want to visit is Rice @ USC (unfortunately there are no better options fitting our schedule). So I contacted the USC Athletic Office regarding tickets and now they sent me the pricing: $140 per person for a medium section and 95$ for a back section further away from the field. Do you think those are actually good prices? I expected them to be way more affordable and we don't know what we should do now (since we're all students). There are more affordable tickets on pages like stubhub.com and seatgeek.com, shall we try our luck there? Or has anyone of you better ideas where to look and what to do?
