  Do you know of the official SpaceX docking simulator? The layout isn't the same as the actual touch screens but a lot of it is very similar. The astronauts really do use just the touch screen buttons, I've never seen any evidence otherwise - and I've looked whenever I see pics or video of Dragon. Source: about 3 years ago

  Perhaps try making two really basic craft in a sandbox save (some links to demo's that I created follow), then sending them up to practice both rendezvous and docking. Also if you can use Mods, the Docking Port Alignment Indicator mod is brilliant! A "tutorial" for DPAI is this ISS docking simulator by SpaceX. Source: over 3 years ago
