Try remote work sites like upwork.com, simplyhired.com, workingnomads.com, etc. - quite a few of them out there. Source: about 2 years ago
Honestly, Upwork has been great. You might try sharegrid. I have never used that part of their offering, and I don't know how many editor jobs there are there. I guess there is always craigslist. You could try simplyhired.com, 24seventalent.com, and maybe monster.com... Again I haven't searched there in a long time. I am pretty happy with Upwork. Source: about 3 years ago
I am applying on some things I found on simplyhired.com. Any one have any other places to look for 100% remote? Source: about 3 years ago
Most of the job posts I see on indeed.com and simplyhired.com list a requirement for ReactJS/Angular/VueJS. I am curious to see what percent of entry level and mid-level front end web/software developers get to use plain JavaScript rather than frameworks/libraries. Please take this poll! Thanks. I am looking for a tech-job and was wondering if it would be easier to advertise myself on platforms with less people rather than bigger ones such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. Websites like monster.com, simplyhired.com, and morewithus.com, seem to have way less members, so in theory I should have an easier chance of standing out right? Or would it be more beneficial to just try to apply on bigger websites and hope... Source: about 3 years ago
Besides what you've already mentioned, you could try simplyhired. I prefer Indeed mostly. Add the keyword CISSP and your location. Source: about 3 years ago

Transition into contracting: simplyhired.com, indeed.com, dice.com, upwork.com - this is where I find the work, and there's no shortage of it. For example, my business increased during the peak of COVID lockdowns. There's usually a screening interview followed by a technical interview, and then either a job offer or a rejection email. SimplyHired, a platform within the realms of job search, job boards, and hiring and recruitment, maintains a notable presence amid a competitive landscape that includes Glassdoor, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and more. This job board has carved out a niche for itself by offering a blend of traditional job listings with an accessible user interface, providing opportunities ranging from freelance gigs to full-time employment.
Functionality and Reach
SimplyHired is frequently mentioned in discussions as a convenient platform for discovering freelance opportunities, despite not offering extensive project management features found in dedicated freelance websites. It is highlighted for its ability to cater to a broad spectrum of job roles, including entry-level, mid-level, and senior positions, with a particular emphasis on remote work options. This positions the platform as a valuable resource for job seekers aiming for flexibility in their employment scenarios.
The platform is appreciated for its wide reach, supporting job searches across various countries such as India, the United States, and Germany. This global reach is particularly attractive for job seekers looking for remote work or international opportunities. In discussions referencing the emergence and popularity of remote work, SimplyHired is frequently noted as a viable alternative to LinkedIn for tech-related remote positions.
User Experience
SimplyHired's user interface is regarded as intuitive, enhancing its appeal to both new and seasoned job hunters. Users have reported a streamlined ability to search for specific roles like customer support technician or front-end developers. The site’s design and function are underscored as user-friendly, with mentions of clear navigational elements that bolster the job search process. Additionally, security in payment processing and client interactions on the platform are commended, further establishing its trustworthiness among freelancing websites.
Placement and Competition
Although it's part of the broader job board ecosystem, SimplyHired is often contrasted with platforms like Upwork, Indeed, and even more niche markets like monster.com. While some users prefer larger platforms with higher membership like Indeed for increased exposure, others see value in SimplyHired’s smaller community, which may offer greater chances of standing out to potential employers due to less saturated listings.
Moreover, SimplyHired is often recommended alongside platforms like Upwork, especially for contract work, suggesting its competitiveness in fields requiring flexible work arrangements. Transitioning professionals, especially those in software development seeking contract work, see SimplyHired as a credible resource amidst wider employment uncertainties.
Conclusion
In summary, SimplyHired emerges as a diverse job board that balances between traditional roles and modern freelancing demands. Its global reach, user-friendly interface, and focus on remote work make it a considerable choice among job seekers, despite the fierce competition from larger, more feature-rich platforms. The supportive community of users frequently endorses it as a reliable source for genuine job opportunities, corroborated by secure user experiences and broad accessibility.
