Sure! It's just a matter of searching for specific tech stacks in indeed, simplyhired, and dice. dice.com is the best source of tech jobs. I know that seems oversimplified, but it's the truth. Search for 'Power BI contract' on simply hired, and you'll see what I mean. That's all I do, just for my specific stack. Same with upwork, although you're 100% it's geared towards gig work. Now that I'm established, I do have recruiters reaching out to me, but more often than not I've already seen the position posted on one of these websites (or could find it there).
