  • I want to create a Mental Map, do you know any AI tool?
Think ive seen somewhere on the interweebz about chatgpt and this https://simplemind.eu/. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Where do you write your stories?
Agreed--it's everything I need, although maybe a cool feature could be a way to draw/sketch, unless they have that and I haven't seen it yet. I like to sketch out mind-maps or creatures or building/neighborhood layouts, and drawing it in-program would be lovely. Otherwise I use the SimpleMind app if I don't draw it by hand. • Trilium Notes: note taking application for large personal knowledge bases
I use SimpleMind: https://simplemind.eu/ It runs fully offline with Google Drive/Dropbox/Nextcloud support. Desktop and native mobile apps are available. No subscription, one-time fee for both desktop and mobile apps. I'm tempted to move on to "infinite canvas" freeform notetaking like Muse, but I don't want to pay a subscription fee. I wish SimpleMind had some of Muse or Kinopio's features, like audio/gif/video... - Source: Hacker News / about 4 years ago
  • Mindmap app for macOS and iOS
SimpleMind (https://simplemind.eu) is a great mind mapping option without having to pay for an app for the rest of your life. Source: about 4 years ago
  • Quick Question
I'm a fan of SimpleMind: https://simplemind.eu/ It's quite usable on iPhone, and I run the Android version on my Chromebook. I didn't realize they also have Windows and macOS versions. Source: about 4 years ago
  • A mind mapping tool for adding a lot of branches? (med school)
I haven't used it in about 4 years, but I tried many of them back then and the one I liked the most was SimpleMind. They have a free version, but I paid like $20-25 for a pro version that allowed a lot more customization and syncing between devices. You might not need that. What I likes about it was pretty much unlimited customization. I could move branches around anywhere and change the colors to anything. Some... Source: over 4 years ago
  • In praise of 2.12, what will 2013 bring to us?
I vote for stickers and shapes! I would love something similar to SimpleMind which is a mind mapping software. I mean the RM2 is built on linux right? Get on that shit someone!! Source: over 4 years ago
  • For philosophers - mindmap software/visual mediums for thought
Notaphilosopher but I use simplemind and have for years. It does a lot of what you are suggesting. Source: over 5 years ago
  • Free Mind mapping software for Window 10
Simplemind is one of my favorites but as you see, the advanced features require an upgrade. I don't know of anything that converts a note into a node. If I want to do that I have to copy the note's contents into a new node. Source: over 5 years ago
  • AMA Riley with the huge polycule
The app I used to chart this out. https://simplemind.eu/ I used the iOS app with pro features. Thereโ€™s TONS of little editing I used to make this. Source: over 5 years ago
