  True, if you exchange your crypto to FIAT you will be taxed for it later on... It's impossible to get away from it. Of course, you can keep your crypto on an exchange and don't cash it out, that way you won't get the taxes. Therefore, it's really safe to say that to avoid it either you keep your coins on a hardware wallet, such as Ledger and Trezor, or you keep it on an exchange, like Binance/CDC/Kraken. Although...   Shakepay is for buying/selling Bitcoin or Ethereum for free through your bank and Interac. No fees but they make their money on a slight spread during buying/selling, it's pretty reasonable since they pay all of the network fees no matter how small the amount. Source: over 3 years ago
