Call for speakers This is same as with meetups, most people use Sessionize, or Google forms. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
Once your meetup grows, it might make sense to create a speaker CFP (call for proposals). This can be done via Google Forms or Sessionize. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
Sessionize - easy place to submit and reuse CFPs. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
Johannes had the idea that we agreed to implement. We ended up building an AWS community focused speaker directory website. Think an awesome AWS focused version of sessionize where event organizers can create an event. Speakers can create a speaker profile and use the site to submit talks to the various events. Check out sessionize.com or papercall.io to discover conferences with open calls for proposal. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
I have a lot of countries blocked on my home network.... Probably overkill at home, but that's not really the question here. I'm trying to access a website that's being blocked and I'm 95% sure its country blocking that's knocking down the connection. The site is sessionize.com. Source: over 2 years ago
Some of these platforms like sessionize or papercall.io even let you set up your different talks as well as information about yourself, including your socials and speaker bio. This helps you keep track of conferences you have already applied for, quickly find new openings and submit your full applications at a click of a button. If you plan to submit many talks in the future, this might be good option to look... - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
The submission process used a Google Form. There’s nothing wrong with that, but I’ve noticed that some other conferences use Sessionize or PaperCall which I prefer because you can have an account with your details that prefills the forms. With the Google Form, I had to re-type a lot of the same data each time (my life is so hard). - Source: dev.to / almost 3 years ago
Sometimes the CFPs alerts are handled by the CFP platforms themselves, such as Sessionize and PaperCall. - Source: dev.to / over 4 years ago
