• Do any of you use an MP3 player?

  I have 2 Sansa Clip Zips, 3 Sansa E260s and 3 FIIO M3Ks. All run Rockbox (rockbox.org) which lets you save multiple bookmarks across multiple books. It also supports large capacity microSD cards. No bluetooth though. Source: 10 months ago

• So I have an iPod. but how do I install banshee? I enter yum install banshee and it says this command has to be run with superuser privileges. I enter sudo yum install banshee and it just doesn't work.

  Hijacking the thread to recommend looking at Rockbox, a free and open source firmware replacement for a lot of DAPs. It supports all kinds of codecs and you can drop your music straight onto the filesystem, no need for syncing through libipod, Amorak or what have you. It's easy to install and remove and allows for dual booting between Rockbox and the og firmware. Source: over 2 years ago
