  • Cheap flight websites
I use PlanMoreTrips. It is free and they send really good deals via email that he searches out every week. I’ve tried all the other ones but this one gives you all deals at once , not just a single deal a week. Source: 10 months ago
  • Expedia?
You typically save money when you bundle a vacation package on Expedia. Usually, it is a good deal and you won't have any issues. I would also recommend checking out PlanMoreTrips. It does the same thing as Expedia but covers a wider variety of sources. It is almost always cheaper for me. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Shopping for the best airfare to Europe. Where to start?
PlanMoreTrips is great. Tell them which flight you want and their AI searches internet for the best price. 8/10 times it finds something cheaper for me. Source: about 1 year ago
  • VPN for buying flight tickets
It depends but usually using a VPN you can save money if there is currency conversion involved. There is also a free app called PlanMoreTrips that does this for you. It has been pretty consistent in find savings on flights for me compared to GoogleFlights. Source: about 1 year ago
  • cheap flights from Boston to Europe?
I have some random alerts set up from major cities in US via PlanMoreTrips and I got one the other day saying Play (Iceland airline) is running cheap flights from BOS-BCN and it is only $325 roundtrip (in April/May). Here is link to Google Flights. Source: about 1 year ago
  • My Giga List of Top Travel Hacks
Another thing I’d add is to use free sites like Google Flights or PlanMoreTrips to set cheap flight alerts from your home airport. Saved me quite a bit on random flights. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Are there days of the week when booking flights are cheaper?
No bunch of non-sense. Best is to use PlanMoreTrips or Google Flight Alerts to get notified when prices drop. Fares are constantly changing so no one day where prices drop. Source: about 1 year ago
  • How to ensure best price on non-hotel rental?
PlanMoreTrips is good. They double check all sites to make sure you get best price. Airbnb is supported I believe. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Website to find cheapest flights if I don't care when I go or for how long?
PlanMoreTrips is pretty good. Almost always it finds me the cheapest price compared to Google or any of the major sites. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Airline prices go up the longer I am on website - how to book at original price?
Check out PlanMoreTrips. They run multiple searches using diff IPs and locations to get you the best price. Saved me 10% on my last ticket. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Is there a site for hotels like Scott's Cheap Flights is for airlines?
I primarily use PlanMoreTrips. If you tell it what flight or hotel you want, it cross-checks hundreds of other sites across the world to find you where is the cheapest price. They you can typically submit a price match with the hotel and get 10-20% more off haha. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Award Travel Tools (Updated November 2022)
I'd recommend adding Points.me (paid award search engine but works really well) and PlanMoreTrips (free Chrome extension that automatically cross checks flight price on Google Flights to make sure you are really getting the lowest fare). Source: over 1 year ago
  • Where do you guys find the cheapest round trip flights?
I typically search Google Flights and then there is this free Chrome extension called PlanMoreTrips that automatically cross-checks the price of the flight you want against Skyscanner, Kayak, and hundreds of other sites. It almost always finds me the cheapest flight price. Just last week I was booking Marrakesh to Lisbon and it told me the exact flight that I wanted was 20% cheaper on Booking.com over TAP Portugal... • I wrote an extension that shows Southwest fares on Google Flights without opening a new tab
2 other extensions I also recommend checking out are PlanMoreTrips which cross-checks the flight prices on GoogleFlights automatically and TravelArrow which does something similar but includes hotels. Both of those apps have saved me quite a bit of money booking flights. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Not sure if you guys know of this app already but it’s amazing. It’s called wanderlog.
Yes it is cool app! I use that one and PlanMoreTrips. Using both, I was finally able to stop using excel sheets to plan trips. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Discussion: how long in advance is the ideal to book flights?
PlanMoreTrips is good. They will email you if the price drops on any flight. Cross-checks hundreds of sites for the lowest price if you tell them the flight number. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Crazy that Google Flights charges you a different price depending on what browser or phone you are using. Almost double the price if you use a phone and are logged in.
I'd double-check the price then. If it is within 24 hours, you might be able to cancel and rebook. Also the company that posted the tweet, they have a free app called PlanMoreTrips that will automatically double-check the flight prices for you against all the other travel sites. That is what I use to make sure I am actually getting the lowest price and not getting screwed by Google. Hope you are able to save some... Source: over 1 year ago
  • Feedback on trip.com?
It is always a risk but it just depends on how much you are saving. I usually use PlanMoreTrips and SkipLagged to find the cheapest prices but I will usually only book via 3rd party IF the price is way cheaper than booking directly with airline. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Finding cheaper flights to Asia from Canada-USA Ideas?
Where are you flying from? Cheapest is always to fly to a hub like BKK, SIN, KUL and then take local airline to Bali like Air Asia or Scoot. You typically have to connect in those cities anyways but savings can be substantial. You can also use Google Flights and enter multiple destinations at once to see cheapest options. I travel a lot and found FlightPenguin and PlanMoreTrips to consistently find the best... Source: over 1 year ago
  • Am I really paying $500 for a 2 hr flight?
Shoot that sucks. Wouldn't trust Hopper haha. I'd recommend checking Skiplagged, PlanMoreTrips, or FlightPenguin. Those 3 sites I usually find the cheapest prices. Other option is to fly in earlier or stay later so you aren't flying at peak times. Hope that helps. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Is there a better option than Google Flights to get cheap tickets? Other options with more airlines or filter options?
Pro tip: I fly over 100,000 miles a year and from my experience, you can find the cheapest fare if you combine Google Flights with PlanMoreTrips or Flight Penguin extensions. They cross-check the flight number against all the other sites and tell you if the exact same flight is cheaper on any other travel sites like Skyscanner, Kayak, Priceline, etc. Saved me quite a bit of money in the last year.
