This page is designed to help you find out whether PanoSharp is good and if it is the right choice for you.
PanoSharp is a 360° upscaler built for VR and immersive content. It takes 8K equirectangular images and video up to 32K (512 MP).
Generic 2D upscalers break on 360° footage in two specific places. They leave a visible seam at the ±180° wrap, because they do not know the left and right edges are the same edge. And they stretch the poles instead of rebuilding them, so the sky and the ground smear. PanoSharp handles both: the result stays continuous across the seam, and the poles are reconstructed rather than interpolated.
You get a 32K master plus six 8K cubemap faces, ready to drop into an engine.
It is already used on shipped VR content — the newest maps in Real VR Fishing on Meta Quest were upscaled with it.
Send 2–3 of your own frames and we will upscale them free as a proof of value. No payment up front, NDA available.
