Hi everyone 👋 I started Optimaza as a small indie project to solve a very practical problem: compressing images without uploading them to random online services. Most image compressors require sending files to a server, which isn’t always ideal for privacy or sensitive images. Optimaza works entirely in the browser and supports JPEG/JPG and PNG compression. Images are processed locally on the device, without server-side storage, tracking, or accounts. The goal is to keep image optimization simple, fast, and privacy-friendly. This project is also the beginning of my journey as a solo indie developer. I plan to keep improving Optimaza and build more useful, lightweight web tools in the future. I’m always open to feedback, ideas, and discussion — feel free to share your thoughts or suggestions.
