Check porkbun.com, namesilo.com, then namecheap.com. They offer most but not all TLDs but each offers a few the other doesn't. There are some that none of them offer so you can try GoDaddy but they're pricey. Those three are among your best bets for long term low pricing. Source: 5 months ago
You will catch on in no time. Play localy. When you are capable enough, buy yourself domain and hosting. I always sugest to beginers https://namesilo.com; for 30$ a year you will have domain, host and own mail, and turnkey WordPress installation. Source: 10 months ago
If you decide to go WP route, I can recommend https://namesilo.com For start. Source: 11 months ago
If you want to pay extra for privacy sure, go with godaddy. But better domain registers that do no charge for privacy and are closer to wholesale prices are, https://porkbun.com and https://namesilo.com. Source: about 1 year ago

I want to achieve this similar setup using the domain name I just purchased (ie. MYNAS.com). I think I am having some issues with certificate setup and routing them correctly. My domain was purchased via namesilo.com which has internal DNS management - I have "www.nas.MYNAS.com" forwarded via CNAME to "MYNAS.synology.me" but it just won't connect.
