I use this AI productivity app called "Motion" (usemotion.com). It requires google maps or outlook. I really can't stand that but it's been so helpful for me, I still use google calendar as my main calendar. Source: over 1 year ago
I’m curious to hear more about your experience. I don’t work closely with other people, but I use Motion, which has features specifically for teams to automatically rearrange their 1:1s and tasks based on each other’s availability. Source: almost 2 years ago
RE specific products: I'm curious about usemotion.com and https://www.getinflow.io/. Source: almost 2 years ago
Motion (usemotion.com) keeps advertising to me and as far as I can tell, it offers one really nice feature which is the ability to have events with concrete durations but times that aren't set in stone so the calendar can automatically move them for you. This seems really interesting to me and I'd be interested in trying it, but much like with Superhuman for email, I just can't justify the price. $34/mo or $240/yr... Source: almost 2 years ago
Motion (a YC project). Add all my tasks & projects and priorities deadlines etc and let the AI figure out the plan. Updates in real-time if things change or are not done on time. Syncs to my Google calendar. Pricey though. Source: about 2 years ago
I'm really keen to try out usemotion.com - been test driving reclaim.ai but feel like I'm missing some of the features motion has (projects, softdeadlines, etc). Anyone have any spare referrals they'd be willing to share? The 5 day trial is really too short considering how long it takes to set a system like this up with all your to-dos. Thanks! Congratulations on the new clients!! That’s a huge step, and you’re smart to use it as a learning tool. I always recommend https://usemotion.com It might be an option for you, and in my opinion is better than other scheduling apps. Especially if you have to integrate scheduling into your workflow and client service. Source: over 2 years ago
For the calendar/priority/scheduling/task side of things, you really should be using something more like Motion as opposed to a CRM, that will allow for easily rescheduling your tasks and calendar every day based on priority. Wonder if something like that could work for some of your use-cases. Monday doesn't go into this level of calendar integration and prioritization. Source: over 2 years ago
I don't know why Motion (usemotion.com) makes it so difficult to remove the calendar entries and delete your account. I was testing the platform and put 3 tasks/calendar entries, and "detaching" a dozen times doesn't do anything (after taking time to get to the page where you can "detach"). I've been looking for a way to completely delete the account but no luck so far. Source: over 2 years ago
One of my biggest problems is an inability to start a new task. I’ve come to rely on Motion to schedule my tasks for me. It places the job on a calendar which helps me procrastinate less. It has the added side effect of forcing me to do better at gauging my time — if I schedule a half hour to do a task but it takes 60 minutes, I’ll be better next time I do something similar. It’s not cheap, but I’ve more than made... Source: over 2 years ago
I am using motion (usemotion.com) to manage my day. Unfortunately, I can't integrate it with my iCloud calendar (I use it to share a calendar with my wife). Source: over 2 years ago
I've been trying out Reclaim.ai and Usemotion.com, which seem like really new apps. Motion seems to have been mentioned here, but I haven't seen many people talking about Reclaim, and usemotion.com is pretty expensive after the short 5-day trial. So far, I'm really enjoying Reclaim.ai and might stick with it, especially given the really feature-rich free forever plan, but wondering if people here have used these... Source: over 2 years ago
