Can anyone help me out? While it was great that u/tomysshadow uploaded the Disney Games Download title on the Lost Media Wiki, I can't seem to find a way to resolve that what I think is an anti-piracy measure in which in every single playthrough, the same limited number of questions are repeated over and over and over again, leaving out the rest in the entire game. It becomes so repetitive that it just ruins the... Source: over 2 years ago

- If you want a native encrypted cloud storage, one of the better priced ones is Mega. The free tier gives you up to 20GB to use. Here's a referral link if you want extra free storage a well. It's still E2EE, but not open-sourced. They do, however, have an audit on their encryption and source codes. I use this for backing up photos, business docs, and keeping a backup of one of my Cryptomator vaults here. Source: over 3 years ago

The videos come in as raw as the day they were saved, using xfire's wierd XFR1 video codec. Both VLC and MPC can play them just fine, but discord & most video editing apps will have trouble. Youtube, imgur and streamable support XFR1. Also included with your download link (via mega.nz) is a conv_vids folder which contains all the vids in a more modern MP4 format for video editing. MEGA, the cloud storage service originating from the controversial background of Kim Dotcom's Megaupload, has carved out a distinct presence in the cloud storage landscape. Offering a mix of generous free storage, privacy-focused features, and cross-platform compatibility, MEGA is both celebrated and critiqued by its user base.
Generous Free Storage: A standout feature of MEGA is its substantial free storage offering. With 50GB available at no cost, MEGA provides significantly more free storage than many of its competitors, such as Google Drive or Dropbox, attracting users who prioritize free storage capacity.
Privacy and Security: MEGA's commitment to privacy is notable, rooted in its foundation ethos by Kim Dotcom. The service employs end-to-end encryption, ensuring user data is encrypted during transit and at rest. This feature positions MEGA as a favored option among privacy-conscious users, as emphasized by its tagline, "The Privacy Company." Despite Dotcom's departure, the company maintains a strong focus on security with features such as encrypted sharing links and built-in encrypted chat.
Cross-Platform Compatibility: MEGA offers comprehensive support across multiple platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, and mobile operating systems. The service is particularly popular among Linux users due to its native applications and positive reviews from this community.
Storage Limitations: Despite its initial draw of 50GB free storage, critiques have surfaced about MEGA's policies of reducing storage over time or after certain conditions are not met. These practices can lead to user dissatisfaction, prompting some to seek alternatives.
Link Takedowns and Restrictions: Some users report issues with file and link takedowns, indicating a potentially aggressive compliance or content policing policy. This can impact user experience, particularly for those relying on consistent file availability.
Performance Issues: Performance is another challenging aspect, with some users noting issues such as slow access and high CPU usage, particularly on Linux. As internet speeds and reliability vary globally, these issues can affect user satisfaction and lead to the perception that the service is slow.
Public sentiment around MEGA is mixed. While it garners acclaim for its privacy-centric approach, generous free storage, and broad compatibility, concerns regarding performance, policy changes, and content management persist. Users who highly value privacy and are willing to navigate potential service limitations may find MEGA a suitable choice. Meanwhile, those who prioritize consistent performance and generous long-term storage plans may explore alternatives like Dropbox, Google Drive, or pCloud.
In summary, MEGA continues to hold a distinct position in the cloud storage market, with its features catering primarily to privacy-focused users and those seeking substantial free storage, albeit with certain reservations regarding service reliability and policy clarity.
