I use librarything.com to keep track of books I read. One of the things I like most about the site is that it basically works like your own personal library card catalog. Not sure if it is what you want, but LibraryThing is a tool for cataloging personal collections that provides LC class for the books you add. You could probably upload the data youโve already compiled to avoid scanning or entering ISBNs. Itโs free and their privacy policy is much better than something like Goodreads. For the books, get one well made bookshelf/cupboard and try to get the books you want second hand. If the collection gets larger, then some books will have to go. This way, you keep a nice collection of books, but it doesn't grow out of hand. I even have considered to limit my collection to a top 100 of books I read and the ones that are on my to read list.
