Found on reddit, everything I needed.

This was what I needed. Free linguistic search engine with all the side tools. UI is mostly designed for usability, and I really liked their 'gridflow' system.

  • twiddle, fiddle and fidget
The three are similar, and sometimes interchangeable, but not usually. One resource I recommend is example sites like lengusa.com where you can see a lot of examples to get a feel for how words are used in the real world. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Is saying ā€ždominate onā€ correct?
OP, thereā€™s a website called lengusa that you can search for stuff like ā€œdominate onā€ or other words/phrases and itā€™ll pull up examples of their use. Itā€™s not comprehensive and I think it mainly pulls from magazine and news articles, but itā€™s a good place to start when youā€™re not quite sure if something is common or used by native speakers. • Some states searching for "were" and "their"
Tools/data used: https://simplemaps.com/us and https://analytics.google.com (I can access to that, happy to remove if this is outside the sub rules. It's ok according to my understanding of them) Lengusa is basically a sentence search engine that integrates WordNet (WordNet is a lexical database by Princeton University). So this is more of a map of which words/phrases are most frequently searched in each state in... Source: over 1 year ago
  • How do I explain articles to someone whose native language lacks them?
Still, I want to assist him with his minor issue.I understand how difficult it can be to interact with people who do not speak your native language. As a result, I'm looking for ways to explain grammar rules to him.So he won't embarrass himself in front of everyone else.I discovered a sentence search engine for him online. But I'm not sure if it will help him with his minor grammar issue. Please let me know if you... • Is there a website or app that gives you sentences including your intended word from reliable resources? The website lengusa.com does this for English.
I used this website lengusa.com for English and I was wondering if there's something like this for German as well. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • 'Everything around is blossoming' - does this sound correct and natural, or is there a better way to say this?
I find lengusa.com and youglish.com to be really useful for seeing/hearing a bunch of examples of people using these words in context in the real world. Try searching for blooming, blooms, blossoms, blossoming, etc. And see how they are used. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Movie version of Youglish
Not what you wanted but if you are ok with text version : https://lengusa.com. Source: about 2 years ago
  • I just want to update my favicon on google search results!!! [extra: html minify]
Hi nuxt people, I've created my website without nuxt first and had a shitty favicon. Now I'm using nuxtjs and have a different favicon. However, no matter which rule I override on nuxtjs head section, google fails to pull the current favicon. What I am doing wrong? Do you guys have any example 'nuxtjs' website with correct favicon crawl from google. My website is https://lengusa.com, you can check head tags,... Source: over 2 years ago
  • Free ludwig.guru alternative: lengusa
There is also similar set of features like compare words, find the missing word etc. I tried them both and they seemed to work well on both sites. As far as I understand, lengusa uses Wordnet by Princeton University for lexical connections, ludwig.guru uses a normal dictionary. Lengusa seems to have use over time option, and ludwig guru seems to have ordering functionality. Source: over 2 years ago
  • You said, I listened. Thanks to you all I converted my website to a fully fledged nuxt app and would love to hear your feedback.

  • How to improve vocabulary?
I suggest learning by immersion. Check examples instead of just checking the meanings. Listen them. Spend time on the new words youā€™ve learned. You can use https://lengusa.com for most of the things. And I would really suggest reading a book while listening it on https://audible.com. Source: over 2 years ago
