The typical user is a one-to-ten-person business that already belongs to several local Facebook groups and reads Nextdoor, but cannot sit and watch them all day. Most have paid for leads from Angi, Thumbtack or HomeAdvisor and want the same jobs without the per-lead bill.
LeadHunter USA was built by a plumber. He spent thousands of dollars on lead-generation services that promised good leads and mostly delivered junk — wrong trade, wrong area, or the same lead sold to four other plumbers who all undercut each other.
