a lot of the recommendations here are time consuming. if you do control4 or something similar, it's not time consuming but the integrator that you hav to purchase from will more than likely not give you access to your system. you could do c4 with josh.ai on top of it. or just josh.ai on it's own but then you lose pool control but everything else you are asking for. you'll also have to play in their sandbox of... A voice-activated home automation system that works similar to Alexa but has no advertising has been available for over six years. That is the Josh.ai system and I bet there aren't too many owners that are unhappy with that system. And there are still a lot of things that Alexa can do that josh.ai can't do. Video distribution.......that's going to up the budget for sure but I do think you are there for it. look into AVPro for video distribution. I'm seeing a lot of people go that route even when using crestron or savant. AVPro just came out or is coming out with one that talks directly with josh.ai and obviously they can work with c4 or any major control system. Source: almost 4 years ago
But it really depends on how 'smart' you want your home. how much you want to integrate. You can do a simple but in depth integration job with C4. if you don't have too much you can go with josh.ai and stay in their sandbox. use the products it interacts with and use that as your automation system. their app works very smooth and you can also go in and make changes on your own so you don't need an integrator... Crap my bad. I am doing too much stupid shopping this AM and replied too fast. I'm using josh.ai. cool part is they do all the coding and the system pretty much allows you to program and set up on your own. I run my entire house two ways. through josh.ai and also through control4. you can do all the stuff I do at home through other methods but due to me being a lazy piece of shit, I'd rather pay a little more on the automation side to make things work with very little problems.
