Reminds me of this, created by one of the tailwind guys: https://heropatterns.com/ These are really useful for subtle background patterns on footers etc. - Source: Hacker News / 2 months ago
  • Glam up my markup: beaches
Technical : I started with what I thought was going to be the hardest feature - the animated background. The subtle changing colors remind me of how waves come and go out of view. The pattern comes from https://heropatterns.com/ (CC BY 4.0). I thought I would need js for this, but using an external svg file + embedded style sheet is all this is. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago

Next I spruced up my form's visuals a bit by heading to Google Fonts and finding one that had camping vibes - eventually landing on Amatic SC. Then I had the wild idea of making the form look like a piece of paper, so that I could make the submit button fold the paper up into an envelope or paper airplane and fly off screen if it was submitted successfully (This was EXTREMELY high hopes and I didn't even get... - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago

  • How to generate those header beams like in the Tailwind docs?
Not animated. I thought there might be a tool for that like https://heropatterns.com/ or so, but I couldn't find one. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Making an Animated Background
The prefixed versions of the animation properties (i.e. -webkit-animation, -moz-keyframes) aren't needed anymore. The jankiness of the animating seems to be coming from separately animating 4 different images at once. I've got it down to 2 images using `conic-gradient` instead of `linear-gradient`. Although you'd probably be better off with a single SVG image (https://heropatterns.com/). Source: over 2 years ago

You can definitely make a nice textured background work! Though I usually prefer the style like https://heropatterns.com/. I think it is the colour scheme making these feel more dated at the moment. Source: over 2 years ago

It is particularly celebrated for allowing users to quickly create aesthetically pleasing backgrounds without the need for intricate coding or design expertise.

The tool's flexibility is frequently praised by users who value the capacity to customize patterns according to their project's aesthetic needs. This customization includes adjusting colors, pattern sizes, and opacity, which enables designers to seamlessly integrate patterns into various design contexts.
