  • Gruvbox Theme for Visual Studio
Hey programmers - I was recently looking for a gruvbox theme for Visual Studio - but found the current one offered on the store not to my taste, (and not technically following the design philosophy of the original gruvbox theme) so I decided to make my own! Source: 6 months ago
  • What color scheme do you use?
Gruvbox Material is a modified version of Gruvbox, the contrast is adjusted to be softer in order to protect developers' eyes. Https://github.com/sainnhe/gruvbox-material. Source: 11 months ago
  • Gruvbox PSP Theme [W.I.P]
Gruvbox its a retro groove Color scheme heavily inspired by badwolf, jellybeans and solarized. With this I want to give the community a customization theme a little different from what they are used to such as neon and those quirky themes that do not go with the retro theme of the PSP. • Dark Side of the Moon - Gruvbox Edition [3840 x 2160] [OC]
Native 4K minimalist/modernist take on the classic Dark Side of the Moon album cover, using the colors from the gruvbox palette by morhetz. I wanted something like this for my own desktop, couldn't find it anywhere. So I made it myself and figured maybe someone else might like it. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Introducing crazy-theme.el: A Crazy Emacs Color Theme For Crazy People
For a long time I thought that best theme for me was gruvbox or perhaps vscode-dark-plus. I was wrong. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Why using treesitter based colorschemes yield these background colorings?
I migrated from gruvbox (https://github.com/morhetz/gruvbox) to the treesitter version (https://github.com/ellisonleao/gruvbox.nvim). Source: over 1 year ago
  • Syntax highlighting for JavaScript that uses coc-tsserver? The picture shows how my JavaScript import statement looks like currently on top, and below is how it should be highlighted
Https://github.com/morhetz/gruvbox and https://github.com/sheerun/vim-polyglot are Vim plugins that work in Neovim, but they don't allow you to use treesitter, so if you don't want to use treesitter use them. Source: over 1 year ago
  • gruvbox plugin - necessary ?
I am decluttering my .vimrc script and need your advice. Years ago I installed (gruvbox)[https://github.com/morhetz/gruvbox] and I am not sure if it is necessary to use this plugin. Maybe I installed it because of some highlight issues. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Colored statusline doesn't load at start; I need to manually source $MYVIMRC
" This file contains common and basic plugins too essential not to include " See https://github.com/junegunn/vim-plug/wiki/tutorial " Auto install vim-plug (if not already installed) If empty(glob('~/.config/nvim/autoload/plug.vim')) silent !curl -fLo ~/.config/nvim/autoload/plug.vim --create-dirs \ https://raw.githubusercontent.com/junegunn/vim-plug/master/plug.vim autocmd VimEnter *... • A light colorscheme
You might like gruvbox. Their light and dark themes are great, and there are 3 levels of contrast for the background color depending on your preferences. I use light themes since my home office and work office are very well-lit, and gruvbox is always easy on my eyes. It's inspired by the solarized color scheme. https://github.com/morhetz/gruvbox. • Color Schemes
Just install a colorscheme for Vim itself, like gruvbox. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Ask HN: What colour theme do you use in your terminal/IDE?
Https://github.com/morhetz/gruvbox It's been years, but I always come back to gruvbox. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Nord – An Arctic, north-bluish color palette
I don't think we need a thread for every single terminal colorscheme out there, but gruvbox is my favourite by far. Warm earthy tones, comes in light or dark with 3 contrast options, and no pretentious waffle about color theory or being inspired by childhood holidays or whatever https://github.com/morhetz/gruvbox. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Solarized
    > So I’m stuck writing code all day long with light schemes. Don't feel stuck! I see so many people preferring the dark background for terminals and editors, and I just scratch my head. Maybe it's highly personal, but light themes really reduce the fatigue on my eyes, and I find them much preferable. If you like solarized light, you might want to try gruvbox light [0], which I find even easier on the eyes. [0]... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Solarized
I loved solarized when it was new (to me). But after several years, I couldn't stand looking at those blue tones all day. I switched (in vim) to gruvbox [0] (better maintained "community" edition [1]), which also has a dark and a light version, which is a lot warmer. 0: https://github.com/morhetz/gruvbox. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Solarized
Gruvbox [https://github.com/morhetz/gruvbox] has always seemed quite similar to me, particularly in its light modes. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Solarized
You might like one of the lighter gruvbox variations: https://camo.githubusercontent.com/e814989a4842426cbafd88f51cc7f4e0ebc9a211b57ec5709b127a090fb20065/687474703a2f2f692e696d6775722e636f6d2f354d53626536542e706e67 https://github.com/morhetz/gruvbox. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • mistfly-statusline, the plugin previously named moonfly-statusline, now with adaptive colorscheme support
I decided recently to finally break the linkage between my colorscheme and the statusline plugin. Now it is colorscheme agnostic, hence the rename to mistfly-statusline. My own two colorschemes (noted above) have explicit styling, whilst all other colorschemes will fallback to reasonable defaults. So whether one uses gruvbox, or everforest or tokyonight, mistfly-statusline will adapt accordingly. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Commandlining in bright sunlight: What theme do you use ?
Right now I'm using gruvbox light with background set to #fff. Source: about 2 years ago
  • change the color of the UI?
I really want to use/make a color scheme similar to gruvbox, but I can't seem to find anything about changing UI color. Thanks in advance. Source: about 2 years ago
  • kanagawa.nvim if gruvbox and tokyonight had a baby...
The color palette is inspired by The Great Wave of Kanagawa painting, by Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai, and by my two favorite colorschemes of all times: tokyonight and gruvbox. Source: over 2 years ago
