  • Introducing GNOME 44, “Kuala Lumpur”
That third graph doesn't do a good job of accurately assigning commits to organization. For example, two the largest GNOME contributors for Red Hat are Florian Müllner and Jonas Ådahl. Both of them don't commit using a redhat.com email address. Instead they use gnome.org and gmail.com respectively. So they are incorrectly assigned in the third graph to either Personal or other where they should be with Red Hat. Source: about 1 year ago
  • A few problems/qustions that I personally have regarding linux as a noob user.
That's neither a distro nor a linux question TBH and yes, of course you can remove a distro theme. Just use the configuration tools available. Documentation for the desktop environment can be found on the development websites of said DE's so kde.org gnome.org xfce.org etc.etc. Ad nauseam. Source: about 1 year ago

  • You Should Switch to GNU/Linux
GNOME has been one of my favorite desktop environment since I began using Linux in ~2013. It is the default desktop environment that ships with Ubuntu these days, and for good reason. It is a highly customizable desktop that can achieve a sleek and modern look. Out of the box it may seem a little bland, but there is a great community behind the project that continues to release content. You can combine the GNOME... - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
