  Thanks for the detailed thoughts. Since text is easier to navigate, maybe it is better for documentation and review since you can scan it so quickly.   In addition to recommendations that others have made, you might find Codecademy (beginner friendly, has some free content) or full stack open (free but expects you to already know fundamentals, so is not for a total beginner) or egghead or any number of platforms that will have some free and some paid content.
