I'm assuming they're talking about https://duckduckgo.com/app, which DDG does call the DDG Browser themselves, since that was involved in a 'scandal' re. trackers. Source: 5 months ago
I’d also recommend considering choosing a good internet browser, as you stated “ I just dont feel comfortable if companies and people can see everything ive ever searched up”. A browser that either blocks ads and trackers or at least doesn’t contain its own trackers, is a great start. I would recommend using either Firefox, Brave, or DuckDuckGo. You also should use some sort of additional tracker blocker, such as... Source: 10 months ago
Since DuckDuckGo has grown from a privacy-focused search engine to the all-in-one privacy solution that we offer today, we needed to expand our Privacy Policy to cover our new browsers and features like Email Protection, App Tracking Protection, and more. Check it out here. Privacy and transparency are foundational to our business and community so even though this expanded Privacy Policy doesn’t reduce any privacy... Source: 12 months ago
Have a look at duckduckgo.com, it has a browser for iPhone and Android that is supposed to block all these trackers by design. I've not heard anything bad about it from anyone else yet and information can be found here: https://duckduckgo.com/app. Source: about 1 year ago
Duck Duck Go for android.. Has app tracking protection, and email protection that strips out the trackers when you open an email. The email works where you pick a duck.com email name, and it forwards to your real email, minus the trackers. Source: about 1 year ago

Also if you're on mobile then installing the DuckDuckGo app could be useful as it blocks a lot of ads & tracking plus it'll work when away from your home network so no need to work out a method of accessing a PiHole when using mobile data. Source: over 1 year ago

Dansimsfantasy is great! He's on TSR and he has a wixsite, but do use caution when downloading his stuff. He tends to use link shorteners and adfly. But if you use UBlock Origin and FastForward, that should help. Also consider installing DuckDuckGo for extra padding, but be aware that it might cause some glitches with incompatible sites. > This is also a somewhat misleading title since it's not about our search engine, which people would assume I understand the controversy (or at least I think I do), and I also respect what you're trying to explain. But if DuckDuckGo has to have a browser (instead of simply recommending to its users to change their default search engine on their current browser), then that browser needs to live up to its... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
Almost all websites have a bunch of scripts that track you. The duckduckgo browser (https://duckduckgo.com/app) tries to block those scripts for you. Their contract with Microsoft prevents them from blocking any scripts written by Microsoft. Source: almost 2 years ago
LeakInspector also features a user interface where recent sniff and leak attempts are listed, along with the tracker domain, company and tracker category. The user interface module is based on DuckDuckGo’s Privacy Essentials add-on. Source: almost 2 years ago
I suspect go_prodev is referring to the DDG app ( https://duckduckgo.com/app ) and not just the search engine. I only recently became aware that the app existed, so I don't know how/if it deals with all things AMP-based. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago

That indicates an extension. Is that what you are calling a "desktop browser?" You say it is not yet available and link that site for information. Yet the first paragraph links to an addon page. I can't be sure because that page covers a great many apparently different things, including email that requires a separate account but not a browser or apparently even an email client. I'm still at a complete loss as to... Source: over 2 years ago

The second case is possible to block, especially if the third-part code (e.g. Like buttons) contain hidden trackers. That's what the DuckDuckGo app and extension try to do – block code that contains third-party trackers on websites you visit. Source: almost 3 years ago
