  • Moving Company Contract Cancellation - Deposit
I am moving my family cross country, and I was trying to find an all-in-one company to get it done. I started with a simple google search (like an idiot) and landed on a scam of a site called ConsumerAffairs.com. Which I think is just a way to pay for reviews. Source: over 2 years ago
  • do ecoflow products bought certified refurbished on their ebay listings include a legitimate warranty?
No personal experience but Allstate Protection Plans get 4/5 stars on consumeraffairs.com, trustpilot.com, and BBB. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Warning - Travelzoo CONTINUING to partner with Jetline vacations (based in the UK) despite numerous / repeated complaints about Jetline "bait and switch" / "extorting" extra funds from customers in various ways.
Https://www.consumeraffairs.com/travel/travelzoo.html - Do a 'find' for Jetline within Travelzoo's complaints on consumeraffairs.com and Jetline shows up repeatedly, on every page of complaints, with numerous complaints for 'bait and switch' / 'extortion'. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • (+5270) Amanda from consumeraffairs.com sheds light on her experience with Walgreens Pharmacy.
Amanda from consumeraffairs.com, or whomever expected a pharmacist to furnish drugs to them. Selfishness for sure. Source: almost 4 years ago
  • Trane reliability - Replacing entire residential HVAC system (NE USA - Western NY).
So the local HVAC contractor that I am looking to go with is an authorized Trane installer. I'm interested in moving forward with Trane's XR17 and their S9V2 furnace, due to availability and how how quickly they can come out and install it. I'm trying to do my due diligence and read reviews on the internet and consumer reports, but it's about as worthless as trying to use Google to diagnose a medical condition -... • Just a warning to anyone thinking of using a GoodFood company (Chefs Plate, GoodFood and Hello Fresh), especially with a promo code. Family member used a promo code, price was confirmed free, then without warning was charged full price. Refund was refused.
If you go to consumeraffairs.com and look at Hello Fresh's reviews, you'll notice that they get a new one every 2, 3, 4 or more days typically. Then go to Aug 3, 2020 and enjoy the 101 (!!!) reviews, almost all very favorable, that arrived that single day alone. It's b.s. And suggests that either HF is doing a blitz of its satisfied customer list and soliciting good reviews (compensation? discounts?) or other... Source: over 4 years ago
  • Fraudulent HF Reviews on Consumeraffairs.com
This is best exemplafied by a visit to their site to look over HF reviews. You'll not that reviews typically arrive one every 2, 3, 4, days or longer. Now look at the clusters of reviews that occur periodically, such as Aug 3, 2020 where there were 101 reviews that day alone! This indicates a concerted customer service blitz of their customer base to solicit positive reviews (perhaps with discounts or other... Source: over 4 years ago
