Just a warning to anyone thinking of using a GoodFood company (Chefs Plate, GoodFood and Hello Fresh), especially with a promo code. Family member used a promo code, price was confirmed free, then without warning was charged full price. Refund was refused.

If you go to consumeraffairs.com and look at Hello Fresh's reviews, you'll notice that they get a new one every 2, 3, 4 or more days typically. Then go to Aug 3, 2020 and enjoy the 101 (!!!) reviews, almost all very favorable, that arrived that single day alone. It's b.s. And suggests that either HF is doing a blitz of its satisfied customer list and soliciting good reviews (compensation? discounts?) or other less-than-honest review-enhancing tactics.
