For the client your will need a config.js file which contains a json object for STUN/TURN server. I will not explain in details what is this for in this article but it is necessary to help two clients to exchange their public IP Adresses. The gist above is not correct for security reasons but you can create your own config object at xirsys. - Source: dev.to / almost 4 years ago
  • Xirsys or self-deployed TURN server?
I recently started using WebRTC for my final year project and just discovered xirsys.com, which happens to be the only TURN service provider I could use cuz of their 500 MBs free tier. I know this isn't even enough for testing purposes and anything more will come at costs. So, I'm considering running coturn on a VPS at some cheap cloud platform somewhere, but don't know the pros and cons of either of these choices. Source: about 4 years ago
  • Any good platform to deploy a TURN relay server?
Just found xirsys.com. They provide free 500 MBs per month bandwidth. Which should be enough for testing purposes so far :). Source: about 4 years ago
