YouTube Summarized is unique in its focus on simplicity and quality. We prefer simple solutions that do their job well, instead of bloated and complex solutions that do too much.

What's the story behind your product?

SummYT's answer:

Jarle launched the first version of YouTube Summarized on reddit in the beginning of 2023. It was a novel idea when launched, but many competitors have arrived since then! Despite the competition, no other YouTube summarizer quite matches our summaries which is why our users stay with us.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SummYT's answer:

YouTube Summarized is built using a custom React framework, remix-adonisjs. The Chrome extension is built with the excellent WXT framework.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

SummYT's answer:

YouTube Summarized fits a broad audience. It is especially useful for learners and professionals who want to learn and remember from the videos they watch.
