Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Xcode and FastBusiness API.

What makes your product unique?

FastBusiness API's answer:

FastBusiness API is unique because it focuses on turning a simple business name into a usable, structured company profile.

Instead of only returning raw search results, it provides clean business data such as website, industry, sector, location, business type, description, confidence score, and source links. This makes it useful for developers, SaaS products, CRMs, internal tools, lead enrichment, vendor research, and business intelligence workflows.

It is built to be simple to integrate, with API documentation, developer-friendly endpoints, and a free trial so users can test business lookup and enrichment before committing.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

FastBusiness API's answer:

A person should choose FastBusiness API because it is built to be simple, practical, and developer-friendly.

Instead of making users dig through scattered search results or complicated data tools, FastBusiness API turns a business name into a structured company profile that can be used inside apps, dashboards, CRMs, internal tools, and research workflows.

It gives useful business details like website, industry, sector, location, business type, short description, confidence score, and source links where available. The confidence score and sources help users understand how reliable the result is, instead of just trusting a black-box response.

FastBusiness API is also designed to be easier to test and integrate, with clear documentation, straightforward endpoints, and a free trial so developers can see the value before upgrading.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

FastBusiness API's answer:

The primary audience of FastBusiness API is developers, SaaS founders, data teams, and businesses that need quick access to structured company information.

It is especially useful for people building CRMs, lead enrichment tools, internal dashboards, business intelligence workflows, vendor research tools, directories, or applications that need to turn a business name into a clean company profile.

What's the story behind your product?

FastBusiness API's answer:

FastBusiness API started from a simple problem: finding reliable business information manually takes too much time.

When building tools that needed company data, I kept running into the same issue. A business name was easy to get, but turning that name into a clean profile with a website, industry, sector, location, description, and useful source links meant jumping between search results and manually piecing everything together.

So I built FastBusiness API to make that process easier.

The goal is to give developers and teams a simple way to turn a business name into structured company data they can actually use inside apps, CRMs, dashboards, internal tools, and research workflows. It is still growing, but the mission is clear: make business lookup and company enrichment faster, cleaner, and easier to integrate.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

FastBusiness API's answer:

FastBusiness API is built using a modern Python web stack, with Django and Django REST Framework powering the backend API.

The platform also uses Stripe for billing and subscriptions, Celery/Redis for background profile generation jobs, and AI/search integrations to help collect, analyse, and structure business profile data.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

FastBusiness API's answer:

FastBusiness API is still early, so there are no major public customer names to list yet. The current focus is on developers, SaaS builders, CRM/internal tool teams, and businesses testing company lookup and enrichment workflows. As real customers and case studies come in, they can be added here once there is permission to name them publicly.
