Daylight Goals is the first app released on the app store focused on getting you to spend more time outdoors. It combines automatic time in daylight tracking with Apple Watch along with a sunlight timer live activity to allow you to easily keep track of how long you've been outdoors. Add to that notifications reminding you to get outdoors if you haven't been, and Peak UV notifications to know when the sun it at it's maximum potential.

Most sun apps are just focused on sunrise/sunset times. A few others show UV data. And a few more show your time in daylight. Daylight Goals brings them all together in one place to help you make sense of the data.

I came up with the idea during WWDC of 2023 when Apple announced that it was adding Time in Daylight tracking to the Apple Watch. I wanted to increase my time spent outside, so I set out to work on a simple app to push myself to go outside.
