Deliberately unremarkable parts, assembled around one thing that is ours. We do not resell someone else's API: X-Relay talks to X directly, which is why there is no API key for you to buy and no third-party quota sitting between you and an alert.

The engineering that matters is not the choice of language, it is the scheduling. Watching hundreds of accounts at a few hundred milliseconds each is a queueing problem — deciding what to check next, keeping one slow response from delaying everything behind it, and noticing within seconds when a source goes quiet instead of finding out from a customer. That scheduler is the product. Everything around it we keep boring on purpose.

Three things most tools skip. Replies are tracked separately from posts, so you catch the reply that actually carries the contract address. Contract addresses are recognised on five chains and arrive with price, liquidity and trade buttons already attached. And the speed claim is a cadence you can verify with a stopwatch — accounts re-checked as often as every 321 ms — rather than a delivery promise nobody can check.

An automation platform like Zapier or Make can wire X to Discord, but you build and maintain it, and it polls on their schedule. A social listening suite like Brand24 or Mention is built for brand mentions on a marketing budget, not for a memecoin launch. RSS bridges rebuild a feed every few minutes and drop replies entirely. X-Relay does one job: watch X and put it in your chat, fast, with the crypto context already resolved.

In aggregate: X-Relay runs in over 100 Discord servers reaching around 12,000 people, from trading communities of a few thousand members down to individual traders who spin up a private server just to run it. On Telegram it serves both group chats and solo traders.

Our users are mostly crypto-native — KOLs, memecoin traders and the community managers around them — which is why the product optimises for replies and contract addresses rather than for scheduling posts.

It started as a private tool for a small trading group who kept missing launches because X's own bell notifications are unreliable and cannot be filtered. Everything since has been shaped by that: replies were added because that is where contract addresses hide, contract detection because pasting an address into DexScreener costs the seconds that matter, and Telegram support because half the audience never opens Discord.
