Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing WordPress.com and Pixelform.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Pixelform's answer:

  • Astro
  • React
  • Cloudflare Pages (Edge Hosting)
  • TypeScript

What makes your product unique?

Pixelform's answer:

  • Complete Design Freedom: Unlike competitors that restrict you to pre-made themes, Pixelform supports Custom CSS Injection, allowing developers to match the form exactly to their website's branding.
  • Developer-First Approach: Built with a focus on clean data structure, API integrations, and developer-friendly logic, rather than just basic drag-and-drop.
  • Cost-Effective: Offers premium logic and design features at a fraction of the cost of enterprise tools like Typeform.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Pixelform's answer:

Choose Pixelform if you are tired of paying expensive monthly subscriptions ($50+) for Typeform just to remove branding or change a font.

Pixelform is the best choice for users who want the high completion rates of a "conversational form" (one question at a time) but refuse to compromise on design. If you need your form to look 100% native to your product with custom styling and advanced logic, Pixelform is the solution.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Pixelform's answer:

  • Software Developers
  • UI/UX Designers
  • Indie Hackers & Solopreneurs
  • Web Agencies
  • Early-stage SaaS Founders

What's the story behind your product?

Pixelform's answer:

As a solo developer, I loved the conversational UX of Typeform but hated two things: the steep monthly price tag and the rigid design limitations. I wanted a form that looked exactly like my product, not a generic third-party tool.

I realized many developers and designers felt the same painโ€”they wanted full control over CSS and logic without building a form builder from scratch. So, I built Pixelform to give creators the design freedom they deserve at a fair price.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Pixelform's answer:

  • Early-stage SaaS Startups
  • Indie Hackers building in public
  • Freelance Web Designers
  • Solo Developers
