I make original paintings that I usually post on social media, however I also have a website that works as my portfolio. I made it with wix.com and it's http://egonklett.com/ . Source: over 2 years ago
I was switching because my CachyOS installation had started to feel "broken", I mean, I had this issue where my browsers were not able to cross 10FPS in running even simple flash games, and wix.com's website builder. I even posted it in r/cachyos sub, the devs replied but left after one comment. Source: over 2 years ago
I'm going to re-build my portfolio with glazed and hopefully soon nightshaded images, but I am going to use something like wix.com. Does anyone know if they allow scraping? Or if there is some other provider I can use? Source: almost 3 years ago

I have been maintaining it for close to 5 years now. And it looks like 2025 is finally the year of RSS :). - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago

Probably https://diff.blog/ would be one of the alternatives. I must say, if reddit goes dark today, I'd be... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
You could use a personal site and host it in github pages if you don't want to post your content on an existing platform. And since you are interested in computer science, having a personal blog site would add a lot of value in your career. Its not that hard to build one with Hugo Framework if you really just want to get one site up and running. Then link your blog to diff.blog for a wider audience maybe. I have... Medium even supports mirror your posts with the canonical URL pointing to the original. This means that any discovery on medium should help your SEO. I don't mind being on medium, but I want to have a canonical own that I own and that medium-haters can use. Personally I have a static site, and when I make a new post it automatically goes out to Mastodon and Medium as well as a couple of "RSS aggregators" (like... - Source: Hacker News / over 4 years ago
