Synapse is a cross-posting tool for people who publish the same thing to a lot of places.
Synapse publishes it to each platform, handles each platform's character limits and media rules, and tells you the result per account rather than pretending one green tick covers everything.
It connects to nine platforms: X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads and Bluesky. You can connect more than one account per platform, and you can override the caption per platform when a post needs to read differently on LinkedIn than it does on X.
Scheduling is included on every plan. There is a monthly calendar view, bulk tools for writing and scheduling many posts at once, a media library, and an auto-publisher that fires scheduled posts without you being at your desk. If you don't want to pick times yourself, Synapse can pick them for you.
For anyone who wants to automate further, there is a public REST API and an MCP server, so you can post to Synapse from your own scripts or from an AI assistant. Both are available on the cheapest plan, which is unusual: most tools in this category treat API access as an enterprise line item.
Team workspaces are on the Growth and Pro plans, with per-member permissions, so an agency or a two-person team can share accounts without sharing passwords.
Pricing is flat and per-account rather than per-channel: - Starter is $7/month for 5 connected accounts - Creator is $19/month for 15 connected accounts - Growth is $39/month for 50 accounts plus teams - Pro is $79/month for unlimited accounts. Paying yearly gives you one to two months free. Every plan has a 7-day free trial, with a card required up front.
It is built for solo creators and small creator teams who publish to four or more platforms every week and for the freelance social media managers and small agencies who do that on behalf of clients.

I started with Buffer since everyone knows the name. It has been around forever as a scheduler, and now it has a newer GraphQL API that replaced the older, more limited one. - Source: dev.to / about 2 months ago
We could have built full autopilot รขยย generate, schedule, post, done. Tools like Buffer and Hootsuite give you scheduling. Some newer tools now offer auto-posting. We deliberately didn't go that route for the first version, and the reason is data. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
The concept is simple but technically ambitious. We are going to execute a strategy of "dogfooding" (eating our own food). Instead of using third-party tools like Buffer or Hootsuite, we will build a custom distribution engine using the very technologies we write about: Generative AI and CI/CD Pipelines. - Source: dev.to / 7 months ago
