I spotted the very underrated Bloom [1] in the screenshots and thought I should give it a shout in here. I've been using it, along with Witch [2] as an app switcher so that I can hide the Finder icon, for about 2 months and love it. I tried a lot, and https://manytricks.com/witch/ is what I stuck with for the ONLY decent alt tab experience I could find (itโs heavily customizable). I donโt understand this number thing, finding them like that takes the same reading action you could be doing while you press alt tab for eachโฆ and youโd be done, but instead I see so many apps offer that number route. It just seems like double work to me ;). Source: about 3 years ago
However, a little research was enough to dispel that misconception. Yes, there was a technical aspect to programming, but most developers weren't doing complex calculations all the time. I started studying JavaScript, HTML, and CSS on YouTube and also studied on Codecademy platform. - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago

I found this JavaScript course very useful: https://learnjavascript.online/. You can also learn Java and Python on codecademy.com. - Source: dev.to / almost 3 years ago
Codecademy.com makes use of a similar approach to the one you mentioned in order to teach JavaScript (and HTML and CSS), giving immediate feedback for the code you write on your browser (except that it uses the browser, as mentioned, instead of an IDE). Source: almost 3 years ago
