Run an MTR if you can (winmtr.net will work on Windows, MTR is a native package on Linux that you can easily install). MTR will collect traceroute data over time and help you see where the connection is breaking down. Source: about 1 year ago
Another way would be to use nmap from a Linux machine or virtual machine using: $ sudo nmap 192.168.0.1/24 where the subnet address is replaced with yours.
