  • What font is this?
Sure, there's WhatFontIs, WhatTheFont, Font Squirrel's Matcherator, there are the forums on dafont, or there's identifont, but I think that one relies on descriptions to identify fonts rather than using an image. Source: over 2 years ago

Take this image if you don't have one > https://i.imgur.com/mOknL1F.png , Then go to whatfontis.com , upload the "text" image, then the next page will show the anti-addblocker. Source: over 2 years ago
  • What should my process be for vectorizing logos that clients send me?
    - For font matching, I've found whatfontis.com to be more accurate than What The Font. If the font isn't free to download, on the font page you might be able to type in a custom preview, enlarge the font size to the max, then screenshot and bring into Illustrator -> Image Trace. It's far from perfect, but it can be accurate enough to pass if there are no other options. Source: about 3 years ago

  • JavaScript Programming Resources
I haven't done this course, but I have been programming with Javascript for about ~1.5years and can build things with React, the best course I found, and I bet it would translate to angular, is learnjavascript.online. Another resource that is good is http://csbin.io/ which is a codesmith platform. The former is more practical and will teach you prequisite concepts to use frameworks, the latter is more theoretical... Source: about 3 years ago
  • Current self taught developers who started of with no knowledge and then used a large free course online. How much of your knowledge came from said course
The Jad Joubran courses on the other hand really upped my skill level and helped me make the jump from passive learning, exercises and very small projects to making legitimate web apps. That was probably the biggest/scariest jump I've made in my learning journey, and without those courses and the hands-on skill checks and projects he makes you do, I wouldn't have gotten to where I am (which is close to finishing...
