In 2012, Webpack was released as an open-source JavaScript module bundler. It takes dependencies as input and builds a dependency graph, enabling developers to take a modular approach to web application development. This allowed them to import almost anything to client-side code and, over time, became the foundation of the build process for React, Angular, Vue, and many other frameworks. - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago
From a developer experience perspective, it's worth noting that Next.js was built using webpack for bundling, which has struggled to maintain performance. Therefore, when changing something in the code, reload times can be very slow. For this reason, the Next.js team has been working on getting full compatibility on its own bundler, Turbopack. As of Next.js 14, Turbopack is still considered beta but is much faster... - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
The reality is simple: minification was never security. It's a size optimization that bundlers like esbuild, Webpack, and Rollup do by default. Variable renaming slows down human readers but LLMs read minified code like you read formatted code. - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
There are also no-framework approaches. These rely directly on React-provided packages and low-level integrations with bundlers like Webpack or experimental support in tools like Bun. While technically possible, these setups are fragile. React explicitly does not guarantee stability of these internal APIs. Any team choosing this route must accept ongoing maintenance risk. - Source: dev.to / 7 months ago
Before addressing the solution, it's useful to contextualize the role of the bundler. In a modern frontend architecture, the bundler (such as webpack, rollup, or vite) has the task of traversing the application's dependency graph, resolving each import statement, to combine modules and assets into static files optimized for browser execution. - Source: dev.to / 9 months ago
I just made another reply mentioning easypost.com and orangemailer.co for electronic stamps, without the monthly fee that Stamps.com has. Source: about 3 years ago
If you want electronic labels, you can use easypost.com. It's geared toward companies that write software to interface with their API. You can make labels through their website, but it's tot as customer friendly as something like pirateship.com which doesn't do envelope postage. Source: about 3 years ago
I personally use easypost.com . Costs the same as a stamp, lets me print it on a letter, and gives me tracking (of a sort). I suspect stamps.com has a similar features. Source: over 3 years ago
My contribution ID on IndieGoGo is 2250. I got an email from IndieGoGo on Thu 27 Jan that said: "Your perk has shipped!" If I press the link in that email to track it, it takes me to easypost.com, which tells me that on Wed 26 Jan, the Purple was in the pre-transit stage (whatever that means), but a USPS shipping label has been created (whatever that means). It has remained in this stage for eleven days now, with... Source: over 4 years ago
They are not trolling I am up to date with my scans I can't recommend enough going to easypost.com and clicking the carriers section. Packageportal have confirmed they will accept every one of these. For now the only Amazon that will be accepted is Amazon Logistics (think its called Amazon post is other places) as they have a open API. Amazon logistics in the UK is used by smaller retailers and offers a service... Source: over 5 years ago
